PILGRIM HAS A NEW CHURCH HOME! Our new church home was designed by the Indianapolis firm of Richardson, Munson, and Weir and constructed by Shiel Sexton, at 3650 West 106th Street, Carmel (near Shelborne Road). The laying of the cornerstone at the new building was on November 5, 2011 and our celebration of dedication happened June 24, 2012 at 4:00p.m. The Pilgrim congregation in September 2002 purchased the property where our new church stands as a commemoration to our Savior, and the groundbreaking for the new church was on May 14, 2011.
Our move was in response to the expansion of the US31/I465 interchange as part of the US31 Hamilton County Project, which is a piece of the INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) improvement of US31 from South Bend to Indianapolis.
Pilgrim has worshipped at the old Meridian Street location since it’s beginning in 1955. Though we have many memories at the old Meridian Street site and it served us well, we look forward to a new Christian church life on 106th Street. Our new location possesses many mission and ministry opportunities that we look forward at exploring and developing. The new building is completed and our church family is celebrating worship to our Lord and Savior with Holy Communion observed every Sunday and Holidays. Please join our journey.
