From Carol Dahoney
Join us for our October 16 Super Seniors luncheon when John Meeks with Chapter 3 of the United States War Dogs Association comes to share stories of these courageous animals and the service they provide, along with how the War Dogs association is working to make sure these canine heroes are taken care of in their retirement.
We'll have a pitch-in luncheon, and sign up sheets are on the credenza in the narthex. You can sign up to bring a main dish casserole, a side, a salad, or a dessert. The sign-up sheets are orange.
The United States War Dogs Association was established in 2000 to help educate the public about the history of our war dogs and how they serve with loyalty, courage and honor. The association and its chapters support police K9s and Military Working Dogs (MWDs) serving our country throughout the world.
